The Laundry Room & Mud Room
The mud rooms (or entry ways) to our homes bring in the most dirt and grime, especially this time of year during the rainy season. So in week seven of our Home Organization Series, we're focusing on the mud room. And also the laundry room, because in my house the mud room is also home to my washer and dryer. If you have a separate laundry room, no problem! The same tips will apply!
The Living Room and Family ROom
After a busy day, I think we all can agree that nothing feels better than snuggling up on the couch with a blanket, your favorite beverage, and a good show or book. This week on the Home Organization Series it's all about the living room and/or family room and how to make it tidy and organized but cozy and inviting at the same time.
This week on the Home Organization Series, we are tackling the kitchen. This is by far the most trafficked area in your home. And, the kitchen is also the place where guests can begin to feel like part of the family. Sitting around the table drinking coffee or sharing a meal tears down the polite businesslike exchanges and cultivates friendships. Having a neat and tidy kitchen only makes the feel of your home that much more inviting.
This is like the coffee talk corner. Sometimes I give organization tips or relationship advice, but a lot of times I'm just sharing about the everyday moments that make up my life.
